Name: Power Enrichment Above Stoich FA Ratio

Description:

This table is most commonly used to pull or add fuel to the map during WOT. This table will add or remove fuel from curve during conditions when the Air/Fuel Ratio of the car is above Stoich (14.7:1). I equate this table to a 'piggyback' fuel computer, where changing the values in this table will have a direct effect on the target AF curve during WOT.

Unlike a piggyback however, changing the values in this table does not have adverse effects on timing. The table does it's calculations based on the target Air/Fuel ratios you program in. If you have a modified car, the AFR's you program in might not be exactly or even close to what you want your REAL target AFR to be, so there will most likely be some experimentation by the tuner to reach their REAL target AFR on the dyno, also like a piggyback.

Values:

Y-Axis: Pressure Ratio (Ratio of Turbo Outlet Pressure to Turbo Inlet Pressure)

X-Axis: RPM

Notes:

F/A differs from A/F, but has the same result in the end. Your F/A ratio can be determined by dividing 1 by your A/F.

Example:

Stoich AFR to FA: 1/14.7 = 0.0680

Target AFR = 1/11.2 = 0.0892

Calculation:

Target_FA - Stoich_FA

0.0892 - 0.0680 = 0.0212

The value 0.0212 should be ADDED to the values in the cell to attain target AFR, in this case it was 11.2:1.

    • To help the tuner better calculate this value, I have created a [1] calculator to aid.

Based on the screenshot below: For the values that contain 0.0153, I had added the 0.0212 value to the cells, they now read 0.0365:

0.0153 + 0.0212 = 0.0365

Use:

Used to for adding fuel when your A/F is over Stoich.
